I woke up to beautiful blue skies
I celebrated a lavender day
The sun was a colorful red
The clouds were a breathtaking gray
The trees were starting to bud
The grass was the brightest of green
The flowers were a real dainty yellow
The prettiest I've ever seen
The evening was an orangy purple
The sky was beginning to turn pitch dark
The stars were blinking in rhythm together
You could view the show from afar
So it's kudos to another day gone
I'm starting to see the big bluish moon
The day is slowly coming to a perfect end
But it's been a very tasty vanilla afternoon
